Regina has her own unique perspective on what most might consider the mundane details of ordinary life: raising three boys\, being married (or not)\, aging parents\, health care\, navigating the world of special education\, mini-van motoring and the grocery store. \n\n\n\nRegina’s comedic ramblings take a look at an ordinary life and redefine what it is to be normal. The journey of a “Catholic\, Democratic\, lesbian\, stay-at home soccer mom with an Autistic son” living in the suburbs provides endless entertainment along the way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJosh Argyle\n\n\n\nJosh  is equally at home telling jokes at comedy club as he is at a BBQ or barbershop. His quick wit and “everyman” relatability have helped him carve out a respected spot in the competitive Bay Area comedy scene. He is a regular at the Punch Line and Cobbs comedy club as well as a participant in the 2019 San Francisco International Comedy Competition.  \n\n\n\nJosh has opened for national touring comedians such as Kyle Kinane\, Doug Stanhope\, Pablo Francisco and Dave Attell. Before stand-up Josh spent six years as part of a traveling imrov comedy troupe. This experience help pave the way for his spontaneous comedy style. When he is not telling jokes\, Josh can be found at his apartment losing at Mario Party to his Fiancé and pontificating about the ridiculousness of writing in the third person with their tiny dog. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nYour host\, Brian is comedian\, writer and executive producer of Showmentum. He has performed all around the Bay Area including Cobbs\, Rooster T. Feathers\, and The Punchline. He has opened for Laurie Kilmartin\, Kira Soltanovich and The Daly Show Writers Tour. \n\n\n\nHe has written for Second City\, a various publications. He is currently the Humor Editor for In Formation Magazine. Armed with more than her share of black clothing\, meatball recipes\, and quick-witted sarcastic responses\, during a quarter-life crisis\, she moved to San Francisco. After more than a decade in the Bay Area\,  \n\n\n\nSue’s laid-back attitude is just a beard for the silently\, but deadly sarcasm she still delivers without warning. She’s a mom of two\, married to a feminist man who cooks\, cleans\, and grocery shops. Sue’s fear of missing out causes her to have a full schedule. She will try anything once\, but comedy seems to have stuck. She works all over the Bay Area and has opened for Steve Hytner\, Don Friesen and has performed at SF Punchline and Cobbs comedy club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarrie Gilbert\n\n\n\nCarrie is one of the slowest-rising comedians in the country. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. She also made it onto Last Comic Standing if you count the crowd shots in the first episode of the seventh season.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNic Briana\n\n\n\nNic is a Livermore resident via New Hampshire and many other of our country’s fine states\, he can confidently name 45 of the 50 state capitals along with every US President in order.   \n\n\n\nDespite this\, he managed to find himself a wonderful wife and beautiful daughter who lovingly nudged him towards performing stand up comedy when they found out it would get him out of the house for a few hours a week.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJ. Mills\n\n\n\nPlaying dive bars\, dry bars\, sand bars\, comedy clubs\, chess clubs\, pizza parlors\, machine shops\, rail cars\, and backyards from here to RENO . . . It’s J. Mills!  \n\n\n\nJ is a recent grad and two timer of the esteemed LVPAC comedy workshop hosted by yours truly and Carrie Gilbert (see above). He’s one interesting cat you won’t easily forget. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the executive producer of Showmentum and performs around the Bay Area\, including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and the Bankhead Theater. Paul won 1st place at the 2020 World Series of ComedyMain Event in Las Vegas.  \n\n\n\nHe is a regular at comedy clubs\, theaters\, casinos and cruise ships all over the country\, and has also performed at SF Sketchfest\, the Oakland Comedy Festival\, and the Big Pine Comedy Festival\, where he was awarded “Best of Fest.” You can catch his comedy playing on Pandora and SiriusXM. Paul is absurdly tall and may become confrontational if you claim to know more about Harry Potter than he does. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmily Van Dyke\n\n\n\nOriginally from the Midwest\, Emily loves best friend tattoos and telling inappropriate stories at baby showers. Emily has opened for Colin Quinn and Judah Friedlander\, she has performed in SF Sketchfest and she’s a local favorite in the Bay Area. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and organizer of this show. He is a Bay Area comedy staple as well as the host and creator of Adulted. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails.

Veering between one-liners\, short story jokes\, and sometimes even song\, Opitz’ writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work. \n\n\n\nHe has been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies Podcast and The Benson Interruption. He was a featured performer at the 2016-2019 San Francisco Sketchfests and  winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn’s “Best Newcomer” award. He is a regular host at Punch Line San Francisco and Sacramento\, Cobb’s Comedy Club and is a feature act at Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club and San Jose Improv.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDavid Nguyen\n\n\n\nDavid Nguyen is a writer and comedian currently writing and comedianing in California’s Bay Area. One half of The Colossal Show\, San Jose’s premier independent comedy showcase\, David is a mainstay both in the local scene and comedy clubs across the state. \n\n\n\nDavid was a finalist in the 2011 Rooster T Feathers New Talent and 2012 Battle of the Bay comedy competitions\, and has worked with Carly Aquilino\, Pete Davidson\, Kevin Shea\, Sheng Wang\, Brandon T. He has been a finalist in the US Comedy Contest and performed at The World Series of Comedy Main Event. Ira participated in the Oakland Comedy Festival\, the Comedy Fringe Festival\, the Portland Comedy Festival and the Laughlin Laugh Fest. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDavid Nguyen\n\n\n\nDavid was a finalist in the 2011 Rooster T Feathers New Talent and 2012 Battle of the Bay comedy competitions\, and has worked with Carly Aquilino\, Pete Davidson\, Kevin Shea\, Sheng Wang\, Brandon T. Jackson\, Phil Palisoul\, Dat Phan\, Marc Ryan\, John Henton\, John Heffron\, and Robin Williams. He opened Anthony Jeselnik’s 3rd Special: Thoughts & Prayers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrooke Heinichen\n\n\n\nBrooke is the winner of the 2019 Rooster T Feather’s comedy competition\, out of 180+ comics. She has performed at the 2018\, 2019 and 2020 SF Sketchfest\, selected as one of Audible’s Fresh Faces of Stand-Up (a show highlighted in USA Today)\, and opened for Janeane Garafolo. She was selected for the 2018 SF International Comedy Competition\, and has performed at the SF Punch Line\, Cobb’s Comedy Club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, Host\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and creator of Adulted. Originally from the midwest\, he’s now a Bay Area comic and writer. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDining Options\n\n\n\nMarty’s Joint Food Truck will be on site with delicious soul food and more.
