He stepped on the stage in 2012 and has never looked back. By 2016 he had the #1 selling comedy special in California called “I Can’t with You” which he wrote and coproduced.  \n\n\n\nOften compared to Jamie Foxx he has worked with the late great Charlie Murphy\, Tony Roberts\, Mark Curry\, Luenell\, Sinbad\, Mo’nique\, Tommy Davidson\, and  recently hand-picked by Snoop Dogg to perform in Rhythm N’ Roast. Mario’s creative mind and animated style will have you crying with laughter and wanting more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClara Bijl\n\n\n\nClara moved to America when she was 18 years old to go to college in South Carolina\, as you do when you come from France. She moved to New York City to become a stand-up comedian and I told jokes around the city\, not caring that her english wasn’t great until someone asked if she was deaf.  \n\n\n\nWhile in NYC\, aside from doing stand up\, sh had a myriad of jobs; from waitress in a French restaurant in Chelsea\, to working for a guy who was renting his apartment to film shoots and music videos – Puff Daddy even once flipped through her DayTimer. \n\n\n\nShe performs regularly around the Bay Area and can be seen at Cobbs\, The Punchline and Rooster T. Feathers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEd Ruben\n\n\n\nEd Ruben has been performing stand-up comedy in the Bay Area for almost 6 years. He was a semi-finalist in the Rooster T Feathers comedy contest in 2018\, and has appeared at such places as the San Jose Improv and San Francisco Punch Line. His debut album “Dandy Man” debuted in the top ten on Apple Music and can be heard on all streaming platforms\, including Sirius XM. He has been seen on Robert Rodriguez’s “Matador” on the El Rey Network and a Toyota commercial\, in which he spoke both English and Spanish. His voice can also be heard in the Spanish dub of the Nick Jr. show HobbyKids Adventures. He has written for the National Lampoon and the CBS Diversity Showcase. He has performed in 9 countries & all the major comedy clubs nationwide. On his late night talk show – The L8 Night Show with Stuart & Luke – at the Hollywood Improv\, Stuart shared the stage with many comedians including Nikki Glaser\, Joe Rogan\, and Adam Devine. He has opened for  Russell Peters\, Ali Wong\, Dana Gould\, and Iliza Shlesinger. Most recently\, he recorded his debut comedy special\, which will be available in early 2024. \n\n\n\nStuart’s love for comedy began at the age of 12 when he saw George Carlin on TV and was mesmerized by Carlin’s ability to captivate a crowd with only his thoughts and words. A few years later\, Stuart began watching Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Saturday Night Live religiously\, longing for an opportunity to perform comedy in front of an audience but believing it wasn’t something he had access to do. It wasn’t until Stuart was 18 and a student at UC Berkeley that he went to his first open mic at the Brainwash Cafe in San Francisco that the dream of being a comedian began to become a reality. Within a year\, Stuart was performing on shows all over the Bay Area. On his first paid show\, he got to meet Robin Williams and Mort Sahl and realized that a career in comedy was possible. Shawn always tries to find humor in various situations\, even the toughest of struggles he has encountered so far in life. \n\n\n\nShawn was born in Victorville\, Calif. but raised in Honolulu\, Hawaii. He attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa\, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Arts and TV production. Shawn’s stand-up comedy acts have been featured on various networks\, including “Worldasia TV\,” “AZN TV\,” “AZN TV\,” IA TV\,” “The Filipino Channel\,” “Sprint Comedy-Time Network” and “National Lampoon Comedy Radio.” \n\n\n\nBesides his experience in stand-up comedy\, Shawn also has forayed into the acting industry. Praised for his smart writing and dry delivery\, Ryan became the youngest person to win the World Series of Comedy in 2019. Since then he has also won the 45th San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2021and become a paid regular at The Punchline San Francisco\, Cobb’s Comedy Club\, Laughs Unlimited\, and dozens of other clubs across the country. He’s performed at The Motor City Comedy Festival\, The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival\, and was named Oakland Comedy Machine’s 2018 Tournament of Champions winner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIris Benson\n\n\n\nIris has garnered such praise as “Bleak and honest”\, “pleasantly dark”\, “wonderfully weird” and “pretty good for a woman” by no one worth mentioning.  \n\n\n\nShe has performed at SheDot Comedy Festival in Toronto. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. She also made it onto Last Comic Standing if you count the crowd shots in the first episode of the seventh season. Veering between one-liners\, short story jokes\, and sometimes even song\, Opitz’ writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work. \n\n\n\nHe has been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies Podcast and The Benson Interruption. He was a featured performer at the 2016-2019 San Francisco Sketchfests and  winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn’s “Best Newcomer” award. DESCRIPTION:3 Steves Winery and Showmentum\, Inc. bring you GroupThink Team Trivia Thursday March 23 7:30pm. \n\n\n\nGroupThink is an exciting interactive entertainment experience new this Spring at 3 Steves.  \n\n\n\nTeams compete with each other to win prizes and bragging rights to claim title of Livermore Valley Team Trivia Champions – Greenville Road division. Questions will cover a variety of topics and categories.  \n\n\n\nTickets are sold by the table (seating for 4 or 6). Individual tickets can be purchased if you need to a 5th or 7th person to your team.  \n\n\n\nIf you want to play\, but do not have a team\, you can purchase individual tickets and we can place you with a team. If you have questions\, see the FAQ below along with contact information. \n\n\n\n3 Steves Wine Club Members get a 10% discount using code 3STEVESTRIVIA. Enter the code at checkout for the discount to be applied. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow it Works…\n\n\n\n\n\nTeams\n\n\n\nPut together your GroupThink Team. They don’t have to be the smartest people you know\, just the most fun. Teams can be anywhere from 4-7 people. Teams will be seated at reserved tables with seating for 4 or 6 people. You can add up to one more person with purchase of an individual ticket. \n\n\n\n4 person tables can add up to 1 more with individual tickets \n\n\n\n6-person tables can add up to 2 more with individual tickets \n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions\n\n\n\nThere will be 6 rounds of 10 questions from various categories to be revealed at game time. The categories will vary so it’s best to brush up on all kinds of trivial things whether it’s sports\, movies\, music and pop culture.  \n\n\n\nAnswers will be submitted via one smartphone (e.g. iPhone or Android) per table. Other players shouldn’t have their phones out to cheat. See more in the FAQ below. \n\n\n\n\n\nPrizes\n\n\n\nThere is more ways to win than just answering trivia questions too. We try to make sure there is enough variety with topics and categories that anyone could have a chance to win. \n\n\n\n\nHow do we use our phones to play?\nEach team will pick a captain who will use their mobile phone (iPhone or Android) to sumbit answers to each question. They will not have to download an app. They will scan a QR code\, or enter a URL on their phone web browser to enter your team’s name to play.  \n\n\n\nQuestions will be presented by the host and displayed on the phone and a TV.
