Enjoy live standup comedy Livermore’s most fun winery. The show combines award‑winning wine, craft beer, and great food with laughs in the heart of wine country. Now in its 7th season, this show is great for date nights, friend groups, and wine lovers who want a fun, experience minutes from downtown Livermore.
This show is scheduled to be outside weather permitting.
Set in the beautiful hills of the Livermore Valley, Laughs in a Glass features a rotating lineup of professional standup comedians. Enjoy wines by the glass or bottle, and order food before the show starts.
Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts around 7:30 pm. Shows typically go until 9:30 with a short intermission. Guests can settle in, socialize, and savor the 3 Steves Winery experience. Everyone gets a reserved seat. Tables are organized by party, making it easy all to enjoy the show in comfort.
With limited seating, Laughs in a Glass often sells out, so purchasing tickets ahead of time is strongly recommended.


The Evening’s Comedy Lineup…

Chad Opitz
Chad Opitz is a comic whose hilarious and unique perspectives make him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Veering between one-liners, short story jokes, and sometimes even song, Opitz’ writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work.
Chad has been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies Podcast and The Benson Interruption. He was a featured performer at the 2016-2024 San Francisco Sketchfests. Chad was the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn’s “Best Newcomer” award. He is a regular paid feature at Punch Line San Francisco and Sacramento, Cobb’s Comedy Club as well as at Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club and San Jose Improv. He’s been invited to perform for High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver, Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, TX. and headlined the B4UDie Comedy Festival in Anchorage, Alaska.
Chad has been featured in several short films and commercials, including Walgreens Red Nose Day to help end child poverty. He was cast as “young Francis Ford Coppola” for the 4th season of Amazon Prime’s Goliath starring Billy Bob Thornton.
He’s opened for Michelle Wolf, Melissa Villasenor, David Cross, Brian Posehn, Scott Thompson, Christopher Titus, Gad Elmaleh, ISMO, Neil Hamburger, Taylor Tomlinson, Tom Green, Bobcat Goldthwait, Brooks Wheelan, Steph Tolev, Caitlin Peluffo and many more.

Candy Shaw
Candy Shaw (née Churilla) is a Bay Area-based comedian. She appeared on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and placed 3rd in California’s Funniest Female Contest (2009). She also performed at San Francisco‘s unique comedy celebration, Comedy Day and has opened for such greats as Mark Curry, Will Durst, Bobcat Goldthwait, Marga Gomez, Rob Schneider, and Tom Segura.mess

Brian Maggi, Your Host
Brian is the creator, and host of Adulted, and a Bay Area comedian and writer. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy performing under the stage name Skip Everett. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails.
He performs regularly around San Francisco including Cobbs, The Punchline, and Rooster T. Feathers. He has written for Chicago’s Second City, and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author, and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity.

Culinary Angels is an all-volunteer, donation-based non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to people going through a cancer.
A portion of each ticket sold is donated to Culinary Angels to help them with their mission to bring nutritious meals to people going through cancer.
Their volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich, plant-based, seasonal ingredients. Emphasis is placed on using cruciferous vegetables, sea vegetables and homemade broths in our soups. Culinary Angels believes this philosophy will help promote health, wellness, and hope to people who are compromised by their challenge. Organic, healing foods are an important part of our bodies’ natural instinct to be well!
