Oakland California comedian Jason Cole hit the comedy ground running by taking 1st place in the first competition he ever entered, winning a feature spot opening for comedian and TV star John DiResta at the Orinda Theater. Jason recently performed at the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival as well as at many of the legendary San Francisco Bay Area clubs such as the Punch Line and Cobb’s. His quick-witted, self-deprecating style finds humor and laughs in all the dark corners of his life and the crazy life around us.
Jason produces and hosts the successful Standup Broadway Presents First Friday monthly showcase at the famous Sound Room in Oakland. He also produces and hosts the weekly That’s Not Gravy (TNG) comedy podcast with thousands of listens on iTunes, Spotify, etc.
Brooke is a San Francisco stand-up comedian and winner of the 2019 Rooster T Feather’s comedy competition, out of 180+ comics. She has performed at the 2018, 2019 and 2020 SF Sketchfest, selected as one of Audible’s Fresh Faces of Stand-Up (a show highlighted in USA Today), and opened for Janeane Garafolo. She was selected for the 2018 SF International Comedy Competition, and has performed at the SF Punch Line, Cobb’s Comedy Club and is a paid regular at Rooster T. Feathers. She has studied satire writing with The Second City, and her jokes have been featured on the front page of Reddit and as the Joke of the Week at the DNC Speechwriters office.
She produces monthly Bay Area showcases Jokelandish, Resistance is Fertile and Brave New Jokes.
Brian Maggi, Host
Brian is the creator, and host of Adulted, and a Bay Area comedian and writer. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy performing under the stage name Skip Everett. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails.
He performs regularly around San Francisco including Cobbs, The Punchline, and Rooster T. Feathers. He has written for Chicago’s Second City, and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author, and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity.
