At a young age\, she discovered that making people laugh made it harder for them to yell at her when she got into trouble. She inherited her mom’s propensity for a quick comeback\, known as the “snappy gene\,” and has used the skill to entertain and annoy folks her entire life. Her stage life began as a stand-up comedian\, emcee\, and improv performer. \n\nRegina discovered a love of storytelling and quickly embraced the narrative format. With thought-provoking honesty and humor\, Regina entertains with tales about the hurdles\, detours\, and lessons learned along life’s path. Regina is a multiple Moth StorySlam Winner\, an NSN Grand Slam Finalist\, and an Exchange Place Teller at the prestigious National Storytelling Festival.  She writes the Normal Notes blog\, which features the life stories of a special needs parent and a multiple sclerosis warrior raising three kids with her wife in the suburbs. Whether through storytelling\, stand-up\, or writing\, Regina tells true\, personal stories infused with humor\, bringing light to the struggles and strengths of the human condition. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarrie Gilbert\n\n\n\nCarrie is one of the slowest-rising comedians in the country. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. She also made it onto Last Comic Standing if you count the crowd shots in the first episode of the seventh season. Carrie recently returned to standup after taking time off to focus on pesky day jobs\, singing with the local Broadway chorus\, and four-leaf clover-related pursuits. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNic B. Your host\n\n\n\nA husband\, father\, and proud Livermore resident\, Nic’s style blends brutally honest self reflection with the absurd thoughts that keep him awake at night. Tables are organized by party\, making it easy all to enjoy the show in comfort. \n\n\n\nWith limited seating\, Laughs in a Glass often sells out\, so purchasing tickets ahead of time is strongly recommended. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Evening’s Comedy Lineup…\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNoah Copfer\n\n\n\nNoah Copfer has been giving Southern California audiences a taste of his loveable anxiety for over six years\, which sounds like a long time until you realize the anxiety has been going on much longer than that. \n\nBased in Los Angeles\, Noah has performed at colleges across the country and appeared at The Riot Comedy Festival\, Funlap Comedy Festival\, and SnoJam Comedy Fest. He has two specials on YouTube\, a full hour for those who want the whole experience\, and a short set with Don’t Tell Comedy for those who are still deciding if they trust him. Spoiler: you should. \n\nFor Noah\, comedy is a break from the chaos of life. He wants his show to feel the same way for you\, a room where the anxiety is still present\, but at least it’s funny. \n\nYou may also recognize him as the Bellhop in the first episode of this season’s Curb Your Enthusiasm\, which is either the best possible credit for a comedian with loveable anxiety or an absolutely on-brand casting decision. Probably both. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, Your Host\n\n\n\nBrian is the creator\, and host of Adulted\, and a Bay Area comedian and writer. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy performing under the stage name Skip Everett. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails. \n\nHe performs regularly around San Francisco including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and Rooster T. Feathers. He has written for Chicago’s Second City\, and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author\, and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCulinary Angels is an all-volunteer\, donation-based non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to people going through a cancer. \n\n\n\nA portion of each ticket sold is donated to Culinary Angels to help them with their mission to bring nutritious meals to people going through cancer. \n\n\n\nTheir volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich\, plant-based\, seasonal ingredients. Emphasis is placed on using cruciferous vegetables\, sea vegetables and homemade broths in our soups. Culinary Angels believes this philosophy will help promote health\, wellness\, and hope to people who are compromised by their challenge. Organic\, healing foods are an important part of our bodies’ natural instinct to be well!
