Now in its 7th season\, this show is great for date nights\, friend groups\, and wine lovers who want a fun\, experience minutes from downtown Livermore. \n\n\n\nSet in the beautiful hills of the Livermore Valley\, Laughs in a Glass features a rotating lineup of professional standup comedians. Enjoy wines by the glass or bottle\, and order food before the show starts. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts around 7:30 pm. Shows typically go until 9:30 with a short intermission. Guests can settle in\, socialize\, and savor the 3 Steves Winery experience. Everyone gets a reserved seat. Emily has opened for Colin Quinn and Judah Friedlander\, she has performed in SF Sketchfest and she’s a local favorite in the Bay Area. \n\nBorn and raised in Logansport\, Indiana\, a town with one high school and a basketball hoop in every driveway\, Emily Van Dyke has made a 15-years-and-counting home of the Bay Area. She started stand-up in 2011 after being laid off from her job as an art teacher. Says Van Dyke\, “the lady at the unemployment office told me to take a class and that I should use the time off to explore myself and learn something new. So I did. I took a couple months of SF Comedy College classes\, and bombed in the privacy of a 3rd floor conference room.” \n\nVan Dyke describes her writing process as “pretty old-timey\,” writing ideas in a purse notebook\, taking notes when she makes a friend laugh\, recording voice memos while driving and scribbling set lists on paper plates and napkins. Her comedy album “Feeling Myself” is available to stream and buy wherever you hear comedy. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJalisa Robinson\n\n\nJalisa Robinson brings her sometimes-deadpan\, sometimes-sparkling style to everything from race to the patriarchy to getting hit on at Whole Foods. A native midwesterner\, she now lives in Los Angeles. She’s opened for Hannibal Burress and she regularly performs at Punchline San Francisco\, the Set-Up LA\, Don’t Tell Comedy\, Rooster T. Feathers\, San Jose Improv\, Alameda Comedy Club\, and Cheaper Than Therapy where she’s also an alumnus artist resident and producer. She’s performed at comedy festivals including SF Sketchfest and Oakland Comedy Festival and she was a San Francisco International Comedy Competition Semi-Finalist (2022). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNic B\, guest Host\n\n\n\nA husband\, father\, and proud Livermore resident\, Nic’s style blends brutally honest self reflection with the absurd thoughts that keep him awake at night. He has been a favorite on indie shows\, bars & wineries\, club showcases\, and is a rising star on the roast battle circuit. Nic is sure to leave you with memorable stories & punchlines and plenty of new things to research after the show. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCulinary Angels is an all-volunteer\, donation-based non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to people going through a cancer. \n\n\n\nA portion of each ticket sold is donated to Culinary Angels to help them with their mission to bring nutritious meals to people going through cancer. \n\n\n\nTheir volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich\, plant-based\, seasonal ingredients. Emphasis is placed on using cruciferous vegetables\, sea vegetables and homemade broths in our soups. Culinary Angels believes this philosophy will help promote health\, wellness\, and hope to people who are compromised by their challenge. One half of The Colossal Show\, San Jose’s premier independent comedy showcase\, David is a mainstay both in the local scene and comedy clubs across the state. \n\n\n\nDavid was a finalist in the 2011 Rooster T Feathers New Talent and 2012 Battle of the Bay comedy competitions\, and has worked with Carly Aquilino\, Pete Davidson\, Kevin Shea\, Sheng Wang\, Brandon T. Jackson\, Phil Palisoul\, Dat Phan\, Marc Ryan\, John Henton\, John Heffron\, and Robin Williams. He opened Anthony Jeselnik’s 3rd Special: Thoughts & Prayers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKristina Pandis\n\n\n\nKristina grew up in Macedonia\, which is not the smallest\, but definitely the most unknown country in the world. She’s been dubbed “Macedonia’s funniest female comedian”\, in part because no one else showed up to claim the title. Kristina’s life experiences an immigrant to the U.S. continue to influence and inspire her hilarious views of the world. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, Host\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and organizer of this show. He is a Bay Area comedy staple as well as the host and creator of Adulted. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy. She has been performing in the comedy and improv world for over 15 years and is the 2nd Place Winner of the 2019 San Francisco International Comedy Competition (the 1st woman in 36 years\, and the only woman other than Ellen Degeneres to hold this title).  \n\n\n\nYou may have caught Gina on season 17 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent where she received 4 yesses from the celebrity judges. Howie Mandel calls her “wonderful” and “memorable”. Festival credits include the World Series of Comedy Las Vegas\, Boston Comedy Festival\, SF Improv Festival\, Hawaii Improv Festival\, and more. She was featured on the Andrea Savage podcast\, in the Un-Scripted Theatre Company and headlines at comedy clubs throughout the country. Frequently recognized for her captivating story-telling\, Gina’s real take on life\, motherhood\, dating\, and navigating Costco; combined with her intoxicating stage presence make her irresistible to watch! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarrie Gilbert\n\n\n\nCarrie is one of the slowest-rising comedians in the country. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. So he’s already used to people tuning him out! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCulinary Angels is an all-volunteer\, donation-based non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to people going through a cancer. \n\n\n\nA portion of each ticket sold is donated to Culinary Angels to help them with their mission to bring nutritious meals to people going through cancer. \n\n\n\nTheir volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich\, plant-based\, seasonal ingredients. Emphasis is placed on using cruciferous vegetables\, sea vegetables and homemade broths in our soups. Culinary Angels believes this philosophy will help promote health\, wellness\, and hope to people who are compromised by their challenge.
