He became the youngest person to win the World Series of Comedy in 2019 and also won the 45th San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2021. Ryan’s comedy often touches on his personal life\, identity\, dating\, pop culture\, and current events. He was born with scoliosis\, a topic he has incorporated into his routines. \n\n\n\nHe gained wider recognition through his debut comedy special\, Maybe They’re Dead\, which has amassed over 146\,000 views on YouTube. Ryan was also featured in Netflix’s 2024 Is a Joke Fest “Introducing” showcase\, highlighting up-and-coming comedic talent. Additionally\, he is known for playing an apathetic Bed\, Bath & Beyond employee in a series of comedic online commercials. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPatrick McDermott\n\n\n\nBorn in Hawaii\, Patrick is now a San Francisco Bay Area-based comedian\, whose clean\, semi-absurdist writing style and unique delivery appeals to a wide range of audiences. Patrick has performed at comedy clubs such as the San Jose Improv and San Francisco Punch line\, the Cinequest Festival\, as well as at corporate events and fundraisers. He has opened for Louie Anderson\, Rob Schneider\, and Norm MacDonald. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, your host\n\n\n\nBrian is the executive producer of Showmentum and performs around the Bay Area\, including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and the Bankhead Theater. He has opened for Laurie Kilmartin and Kira Soltanovich. He also wrote sketch comedy for Second City and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCulinary Angels is an all-volunteer\, donation-based non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to people going through a cancer. \n\n\n\nA portion of each ticket sold is donated to Culinary Angels to help them with their mission to bring nutritious meals to people going through cancer. \n\n\n\nTheir volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich\, plant-based\, seasonal ingredients. Emphasis is placed on using cruciferous vegetables\, sea vegetables and homemade broths in our soups. Culinary Angels believes this philosophy will help promote health\, wellness\, and hope to people who are compromised by their challenge.
