He has appeared on NBC\, ABC\, FOX\, Comedy Central\, A&E\, and VH-1. He has also opened for such entertainers as Ringo Starr\, Natalie Cole\, Hall and Oates\, Vince Gill\, Clint Black\, Chicago\, and even the San Francisco Symphony (“I knew them when they were just a garage band.”) His “First Baseball Game” is one of the most requested comedy pieces on the syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show. \n\n\n\nAfter turning fifty\, he discovered his body changing (“I’m a cylinder now. I can wear a belt anywhere on my body.”)\, his memory is faulty (“I have eight pairs of reading glasses at home. I have no idea where they are.”)\, and dealing with a lazy teenager (“I have a bumper sticker that says\, ‘My Son Is Just Getting By At Hillsdale High’).  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegina Stoops\n\n\n\nPleasanton mom\, Regina Stoops is a comedian\, writer\, improv performer\, and producer. You may have seen her on stage at Cobb’s Comedy Club\, Tommy T’s\, Firehouse Arts Center\, or The Bankhead Theater. Or you may have seen her in the school drop-off line where she is happy to tell you the proper way to jettison your kid. \n\n\n\nRegina is a multiple Moth StorySlam Winner\, an NSN Grand Slam Finalist\, and invited to be an Exchange Place Teller at the prestigious National Storytelling Festival. She writes the Normal Notes blog\, which features the life stories of a special needs parent and a multiple sclerosis warrior raising three kids with her wife in the suburbs. Whether through storytelling\, stand-up\, or writing\, Regina tells true\, personal stories infused with humor\, bringing light to the struggles and strengths of the human condition. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, your host\n\n\n\nBrian is the executive producer of Showmentum and performs around the Bay Area\, including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and the Bankhead Theater. He has opened for Laurie Kilmartin and Kira Soltanovich. He also wrote sketch comedy for Second City and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCulinary Angels is an all-volunteer\, donation-based non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to people going through a cancer. \n\n\n\nA portion of each ticket sold is donated to Culinary Angels to help them with their mission to bring nutritious meals to people going through cancer. \n\n\n\nTheir volunteers are trained to cook with as many organic ingredients as possible and focus on nutrient-rich\, plant-based\, seasonal ingredients.
