Praised for his smart writing and dry delivery\, Ryan became the youngest person to win the World Series of Comedy in 2019. Since then he has also won the 45th San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2021and become a paid regular at The Punchline San Francisco\, Cobb’s Comedy Club\, Laughs Unlimited\, and dozens of other clubs across the country. He’s performed at The Motor City Comedy Festival\, The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival\, and was named Oakland Comedy Machine’s 2018 Tournament of Champions winner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJon Lehre\n\n\n\nJon Lehre has performed stand-up comedy throughout California\, participated in the 2020 San Diego Comedy Competition\, and was featured on the story-telling radio program\, The Moth\, in 2021. He’s a Based out of Los Angeles\, California\, Noah has been giving SoCal audiences a taste of his loveable anxiety for over 6 years. Comedy is a break from the chaos of life for him\, and he wants his act to feel the same for you! He has performed at colleges all across the U.S. and appeared at The Riot Comedy Festival\, Funlap Comedy Festival\, and SnoJam Comedy Fest. In addition to performing at most all the prominent clubs and shows in the San Francisco/NorCal area\, Jason has entertained audiences on famous stages across the country including at the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival as well as Gotham and Greenwich comedy clubs in New York.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArijana Ramic\n\n\n\nArijana Ramic is a charming\, but devious\, standup comedian and writer originally from Seattle\, WA. You can now find her taking the LA scene by storm and even working at the Comedy Store as a “door guy.” Arijana is able to sweetly navigate dark topics like growing up with Bosnian immigrant parents\, identifying as Type A\, and sadness\, all with a smile on her face. \n\n\n\nArijana has opened for the likes of Chris Redd\, Jenny Zigrino\, and Jesus Trejo. She has performed in competitions and festivals including The Seattle International Comedy Competition (2019)\, Madison Comedy Week (2021)\, and was among Best of the Fest at the Burbank Comedy Festival (2022). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Host\, Brian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the executive producer of Showmentum and performs around the Bay Area\, including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and the Bankhead Theater. He stepped on the stage in 2012 and has never looked back. By 2016 he had the #1 selling comedy special in California called “I Can’t with You” which he wrote and coproduced.  \n\n\n\nOften compared to Jamie Foxx he has worked with the late great Charlie Murphy\, Tony Roberts\, Mark Curry\, Luenell\, Sinbad\, Mo’nique\, Tommy Davidson\, and  recently hand-picked by Snoop Dogg to perform in Rhythm N’ Roast. Mario’s creative mind and animated style will have you crying with laughter and wanting more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClara Bijl\n\n\n\nClara moved to America when she was 18 years old to go to college in South Carolina\, as you do when you come from France. She moved to New York City to become a stand-up comedian and I told jokes around the city\, not caring that her english wasn’t great until someone asked if she was deaf.  \n\n\n\nWhile in NYC\, aside from doing stand up\, sh had a myriad of jobs; from waitress in a French restaurant in Chelsea\, to working for a guy who was renting his apartment to film shoots and music videos – Puff Daddy even once flipped through her DayTimer. \n\n\n\nShe performs regularly around the Bay Area and can be seen at Cobbs\, The Punchline and Rooster T. Feathers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEd Ruben\n\n\n\nEd Ruben has been performing stand-up comedy in the Bay Area for almost 6 years. He was a semi-finalist in the Rooster T Feathers comedy contest in 2018\, and has appeared at such places as the San Jose Improv and San Francisco Punch Line. Regina has her own unique perspective on what most might consider the mundane details of ordinary life: raising three boys\, being married (or not)\, aging parents\, health care\, navigating the world of special education\, mini-van motoring and the grocery store. \n\n\n\nRegina’s comedic ramblings take a look at an ordinary life and redefine what it is to be normal. The journey of a “Catholic\, Democratic\, lesbian\, stay-at home soccer mom with an Autistic son” living in the suburbs provides endless entertainment along the way. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJosh Argyle\n\n\n\nJosh  is equally at home telling jokes at comedy club as he is at a BBQ or barbershop. His quick wit and “everyman” relatability have helped him carve out a respected spot in the competitive Bay Area comedy scene. He is a regular at the Punch Line and Cobbs comedy club as well as a participant in the 2019 San Francisco International Comedy Competition.  \n\n\n\nJosh has opened for national touring comedians such as Kyle Kinane\, Doug Stanhope\, Pablo Francisco and Dave Attell. Before stand-up Josh spent six years as part of a traveling imrov comedy troupe. This experience help pave the way for his spontaneous comedy style. His voice can also be heard in the Spanish dub of the Nick Jr. show HobbyKids Adventures. He has written for the National Lampoon and the CBS Diversity Showcase. He has performed in 9 countries & all the major comedy clubs nationwide. On his late night talk show – The L8 Night Show with Stuart & Luke – at the Hollywood Improv\, Stuart shared the stage with many comedians including Nikki Glaser\, Joe Rogan\, and Adam Devine. He has opened for  Russell Peters\, Ali Wong\, Dana Gould\, and Iliza Shlesinger. Armed with more than her share of black clothing\, meatball recipes\, and quick-witted sarcastic responses\, during a quarter-life crisis\, she moved to San Francisco. After more than a decade in the Bay Area\,  \n\n\n\nSue’s laid-back attitude is just a beard for the silently\, but deadly sarcasm she still delivers without warning. She’s a mom of two\, married to a feminist man who cooks\, cleans\, and grocery shops. Sue’s fear of missing out causes her to have a full schedule. She will try anything once\, but comedy seems to have stuck. She works all over the Bay Area and has opened for Steve Hytner\, Don Friesen and has performed at SF Punchline and Cobbs comedy club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarrie Gilbert\n\n\n\nCarrie is one of the slowest-rising comedians in the country. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. She also made it onto Last Comic Standing if you count the crowd shots in the first episode of the seventh season.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNic Briana\n\n\n\nNic is a Livermore resident via New Hampshire and many other of our country’s fine states\, he can confidently name 45 of the 50 state capitals along with every US President in order.   \n\n\n\nDespite this\, he managed to find himself a wonderful wife and beautiful daughter who lovingly nudged him towards performing stand up comedy when they found out it would get him out of the house for a few hours a week.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJ. Praised for his smart writing and dry delivery\, Ryan became the youngest person to win the World Series of Comedy in 2019. Since then he has also won the 45th San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2021and become a paid regular at The Punchline San Francisco\, Cobb’s Comedy Club\, Laughs Unlimited\, and dozens of other clubs across the country. Paul is absurdly tall and may become confrontational if you claim to know more about Harry Potter than he does. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmily Van Dyke\n\n\n\nOriginally from the Midwest\, Emily loves best friend tattoos and telling inappropriate stories at baby showers. Emily has opened for Colin Quinn and Judah Friedlander\, she has performed in SF Sketchfest and she’s a local favorite in the Bay Area. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and organizer of this show.
