We’re telling hilarious tales about first or worst anything – jobs\, boyfriends\, concerts it could even be both!  \n\n\n\nIn the spirit of The Moth (but strictly the funny side)\, a lineup of comics will each tell a funny story about firsts or worsts—jobs\, lover\, car\, marriages. Expect honesty\, chaos\, and comedy gold. \n\n\n\nThen it’s your turn! \n\n\n\nAt the end of the show\, anyone in the audience can jump up and share their own quick\, one-minute story. The mic is open\, the laughs are real\, and the stories might just steal the night. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDining Options\n\n\n\nBeyond the Table will be on site with delicious dining options\, along with Omega Road and New Vintage will be pouring your favorite local wines and hard spritzers. Come hungry\, thirsty\, and ready to laugh. \n\n\n\nDrawing from her experience as founder and co-owner of Taste & Wander Charcuterie\, Amanda expands beyond the board\, bringing her signature hospitality and flavor to a broader\, chef-led table. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Storytellers\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBill Schott\n\n\n\nBill is a SF Bay Area native who has performed in venues all over California\, some big\, some very small and some unique (a laundromat and a junkyard to name a few). He has also performed in clubs in Paris\, Madrid and Tokyo. He is the youngest of 7 siblings and his comedy is based mostly on real events\, except for the parts that are totally made. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJeff Durban\n\n\n\nJeff is a California native who stumbled into medical device marketing after discovering he had no marketable talents. His career took him to exotic destinations like Salina\, Kansas\, and Abilene\, Texas\, where he mastered chain restaurants and rental car counters. He runs and cycles because they require minimal coordination. After years of making friends and family laugh\, Jeff finally took the stage where strangers can now judge him too. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFaina Cherdak\n\n\n\nFaina  has done theater since high school\, spent 2.5 years surviving the Meisner technique studio\, and has done enough improv to talk her way out of almost anything. She’s performed at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival\, but honestly\, she’s just here because she loves to make people laugh. Faina firmly believes that even in life’s darkest moments\, there is always a punchline waiting to be found. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDonna Smith\n\n\n\nNew to stand-up\, but definitely not new to the microphone! After a lifetime of careers\, adventures\, and unforgettable moments\, now it’s time to share the funniest stories yet. With quick wit\, real-life humor\, and a whole lot of personality\, this comic proves it’s never too late to take the stage and make people laugh. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJuls Vistnes\n\n\n\nAs a corporate trainer in Europe\, China\, India\, and North America\, Juls Vistnes has made people crack up about crazy work stuff … meetings that make you wish you had done drugs with your coffee\, clueless co-workers\, crazy deliverables matched by even crazier bosses. Now\, Juls globe-trots for fun. She has wild stories to tell\, from chasing her iPhone across Madrid\, to stopping rush-hour traffic in Bangalore\, so sit back and enjoy the ride! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nbig Al Lopez\n\n\n\nBig Al spent his formative years in Livermore. He wasn’t allowed to be the class clown in 1st grade. He couldn’t even be the class mime. You can’t get out of an imaginary box when you’re tied to a chair. After getting released from the bondage of education he’s been drawing caricatures at events over 40 years. He’s been bringing props\, songs\, poetry and juggling to comedy stages since March 2022. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Host\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the creator\, and host of Adulted\, and a Bay Area comedian and writer. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy performing under the stage name Skip Everett. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails. \n\nHe performs regularly around San Francisco including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and Rooster T. Feathers. He has written for Chicago’s Second City\, and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author\, and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity.

At a young age\, she discovered that making people laugh made it harder for them to yell at her when she got into trouble. She inherited her mom’s propensity for a quick comeback\, known as the “snappy gene\,” and has used the skill to entertain and annoy folks her entire life. Her stage life began as a stand-up comedian\, emcee\, and improv performer. \n\nRegina discovered a love of storytelling and quickly embraced the narrative format. With thought-provoking honesty and humor\, Regina entertains with tales about the hurdles\, detours\, and lessons learned along life’s path. Regina is a multiple Moth StorySlam Winner\, an NSN Grand Slam Finalist\, and an Exchange Place Teller at the prestigious National Storytelling Festival.  She writes the Normal Notes blog\, which features the life stories of a special needs parent and a multiple sclerosis warrior raising three kids with her wife in the suburbs. Whether through storytelling\, stand-up\, or writing\, Regina tells true\, personal stories infused with humor\, bringing light to the struggles and strengths of the human condition. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInanc Karacaylak\n\n\n\nInanc is a Turkish-American stand-up comedian and artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 15 years of performing experience. Known for his award-winning storytelling and crowd-work\, Ino has graced stages across the Bay Area and beyond\, including SF Sketchfest\, and is the creator of the acclaimed hour-long comedy special “Aggravated Ethnic Merman.” \n\nWhen he’s not making audiences laugh\, Ino is an ocean defender and upcycled artist who turns salvaged materials into one-of-a-kind works inspired by his life experiences\, proof that his creativity knows no stage. \n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChet Haase\n\n\n\nChet is a comedy writer/performer and recovering software engineer. He finds joy in saying nonsense with a straight face. He runs a monthly “Roast Battle Royale” at Livermore’s own R-Place Music Club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndy Obert\n\n\n\nAndy is a Pleasanton-based tech executive who spent decades leading sales teams and sitting through meetings that should have absolutely been emails – so he naturally turned to stand up comedy. A Midwestern living in the Bay Area\, Andy’s comedy tackles marriage\, parenting adult kids\, observations on his upbringing\, corporate life\, and his ventures into therapy.
