Armed with more than her share of black clothing\, meatball recipes\, and quick-witted sarcastic responses\, during a quarter-life crisis\, she moved to San Francisco. After more than a decade in the Bay Area\,  \n\n\n\nSue’s laid-back attitude is just a beard for the silently\, but deadly sarcasm she still delivers without warning. She’s a mom of two\, married to a feminist man who cooks\, cleans\, and grocery shops. Sue’s fear of missing out causes her to have a full schedule. She will try anything once\, but comedy seems to have stuck. She works all over the Bay Area and has opened for Steve Hytner\, Don Friesen and has performed at SF Punchline and Cobbs comedy club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarrie Gilbert\n\n\n\nCarrie is one of the slowest-rising comedians in the country. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. She also made it onto Last Comic Standing if you count the crowd shots in the first episode of the seventh season.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNic Briana\n\n\n\nNic is a Livermore resident via New Hampshire and many other of our country’s fine states\, he can confidently name 45 of the 50 state capitals along with every US President in order.   \n\n\n\nDespite this\, he managed to find himself a wonderful wife and beautiful daughter who lovingly nudged him towards performing stand up comedy when they found out it would get him out of the house for a few hours a week.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJ. Mills\n\n\n\nPlaying dive bars\, dry bars\, sand bars\, comedy clubs\, chess clubs\, pizza parlors\, machine shops\, rail cars\, and backyards from here to RENO . . . It’s J. Mills!  \n\n\n\nJ is a recent grad and two timer of the esteemed LVPAC comedy workshop hosted by yours truly and Carrie Gilbert (see above). He’s one interesting cat you won’t easily forget. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the executive producer of Showmentum and performs around the Bay Area\, including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and the Bankhead Theater. He has opened for Laurie Kilmartin and Kira Soltanovich. His act spans from growing up on a marijuana farm to raising his own son to dating as a single parent. \n\n\n\nHe’s the producer of several shows and you can see him regularly at clubs and venues including The Throckmorton Theatre\, The Set Up\, Comedy Oakland\, The Laugh Cellar and others. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJon Lehre\n\n\n\nJon Lehre has performed stand-up comedy throughout California\, participated in the 2020 San Diego Comedy Competition\, and was featured on the story-telling radio program\, The Moth\, in 2021. He continues to meander through his mid-life crisis with the bemused tolerance of his wife\, two kids and easily startled dog. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSara DeForest\n\n\n\nSara DeForest is a standup comic and writer based in Petaluma\, CA. While her comedy style has been described as “sassy” and “intellectual\,” she still laughs hardest at fart jokes. Sara has performed at SXSW\, SF Sketchfest\, 208 Comedy Fest\, Oak City Comedy Festival\, and (most often) seedy dive bars. She is also the co-host of Baby Sheriffs\, a very silly comedy game show and podcast. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, Host\n\n\n\nBrian is your host and the executive producer of Showmentum. A top 10 semi-finalist in the Battle of The Bay Comedians in 2019\, Kathy does comedy (and funny keynotes) all over the country – from Boston and Kentucky to Idaho and California. An ex-tech exec and nerd\, she teaches improv and comedy principles  and speaks to businesses and individuals across the globe. She’s authored 3 books on comedy and improv\, teaches and performs improv at several bay area theaters\, and is the mother of a teen who speaks in grunts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKristina Pandis\n\n\n\nKristina grew up in Macedonia\, which is not the smallest\, but definitely the most unknown country in the world. She’s been dubbed “Macedonia’s funniest female comedian”\, in part because no one else showed up to claim the title. Kristina’s life experiences an immigrant to the U.S. continue to influence and inspire her hilarious views of the world. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAlexia Nye-Jackson\n\n\n\nHaving written comedy for years and having performed her stand-up brand as far back as 1997 at San Francisco’sPunchline and Cobb’s Comedy Club\, as well as being one of the primary players\, performing LUST\, in the original 7 Sins\, produced and directed by James Judd\, award-winning stand-up comic and recurring storyteller and headliner on NPR’s Snap Judgement\, Alexia has now returned full time to stand-up comedy\, launching her first onewoman show\, a sell-out performance\, “You’re Not The Boss Of Me” at McGrail Vineyards and Winery in Livermore\, CAin 2019. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeating & Venue Information\n\n\n\nThis is an outdoor show with general seating. DESCRIPTION:Del Valle Winery and Showmentum present an evening of standup comedy featuring some of the best and brightest comics in the Bay Area. Tickets are on sale now for general admission. Del Valley Wine club members get a $5 discount for each ticket purchased. Just email delvalle@delvallewinery.com for the code to be applied at checkout. \n\n\n\nIn order to reduce the risk of COVID-19\, we will be having the show outside in the beautiful Del Valle Winery courtyard. There will be plenty of heaters to keep everyone warm.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIra Summer\n\n\n\nIra has performed at clubs (and colleges and bars and conference rooms and laundromats and bowling alleys..) in 25 states. He has been a finalist in the US Comedy Contest and performed at The World Series of Comedy Main Event. Ira participated in the Oakland Comedy Festival\, the Comedy Fringe Festival\, the Portland Comedy Festival and the Laughlin Laugh Fest. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDavid Nguyen\n\n\n\nDavid was a finalist in the 2011 Rooster T Feathers New Talent and 2012 Battle of the Bay comedy competitions\, and has worked with Carly Aquilino\, Pete Davidson\, Kevin Shea\, Sheng Wang\, Brandon T. Jackson\, Phil Palisoul\, Dat Phan\, Marc Ryan\, John Henton\, John Heffron\, and Robin Williams. He opened Anthony Jeselnik’s 3rd Special: Thoughts & Prayers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrooke Heinichen\n\n\n\nBrooke is the winner of the 2019 Rooster T Feather’s comedy competition\, out of 180+ comics. She has performed at the 2018\, 2019 and 2020 SF Sketchfest\, selected as one of Audible’s Fresh Faces of Stand-Up (a show highlighted in USA Today)\, and opened for Janeane Garafolo. She was selected for the 2018 SF International Comedy Competition\, and has performed at the SF Punch Line\, Cobb’s Comedy Club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, Host\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and creator of Adulted. Originally from the midwest\, he’s now a Bay Area comic and writer. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDining Options\n\n\n\nMarty’s Joint Food Truck will be on site with delicious soul food and more.
