Praised for his smart writing and dry delivery\, Ryan became the youngest person to win the World Series of Comedy in 2019. Since then he has also won the 45th San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2021and become a paid regular at The Punchline San Francisco\, Cobb’s Comedy Club\, Laughs Unlimited\, and dozens of other clubs across the country. He’s performed at The Motor City Comedy Festival\, The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival\, and was named Oakland Comedy Machine’s 2018 Tournament of Champions winner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJon Lehre\n\n\n\nJon Lehre has performed stand-up comedy throughout California\, participated in the 2020 San Diego Comedy Competition\, and was featured on the story-telling radio program\, The Moth\, in 2021. Armed with more than her share of black clothing\, meatball recipes\, and quick-witted sarcastic responses\, during a quarter-life crisis\, she moved to San Francisco. After more than a decade in the Bay Area\,  \n\n\n\nSue’s laid-back attitude is just a beard for the silently\, but deadly sarcasm she still delivers without warning. She’s a mom of two\, married to a feminist man who cooks\, cleans\, and grocery shops. Sue’s fear of missing out causes her to have a full schedule. She will try anything once\, but comedy seems to have stuck. She works all over the Bay Area and has opened for Steve Hytner\, Don Friesen and has performed at SF Punchline and Cobbs comedy club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarrie Gilbert\n\n\n\nCarrie is one of the slowest-rising comedians in the country. After being knighted with the Class Clown yearbook honorific at Foothill High School in 1992\, she received an award for “strengthening the fabric of goodwill that exists in the world through laughter” after she performed at a benefit gig in Seattle in 1997. She made it to the finals of the Killer Laughs competition at Dublin’s (dearly departed) Bunjo’s Comedy Club in 2012. She also made it onto Last Comic Standing if you count the crowd shots in the first episode of the seventh season.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNic Briana\n\n\n\nNic is a Livermore resident via New Hampshire and many other of our country’s fine states\, he can confidently name 45 of the 50 state capitals along with every US President in order.   \n\n\n\nDespite this\, he managed to find himself a wonderful wife and beautiful daughter who lovingly nudged him towards performing stand up comedy when they found out it would get him out of the house for a few hours a week.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJ. Mills\n\n\n\nPlaying dive bars\, dry bars\, sand bars\, comedy clubs\, chess clubs\, pizza parlors\, machine shops\, rail cars\, and backyards from here to RENO . . . It’s J. Mills!  \n\n\n\nJ is a recent grad and two timer of the esteemed LVPAC comedy workshop hosted by yours truly and Carrie Gilbert (see above). He’s one interesting cat you won’t easily forget. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the executive producer of Showmentum and performs around the Bay Area\, including Cobbs\, The Punchline\, and the Bankhead Theater. He has opened for Laurie Kilmartin and Kira Soltanovich. Paul won 1st place at the 2020 World Series of ComedyMain Event in Las Vegas.  \n\n\n\nHe is a regular at comedy clubs\, theaters\, casinos and cruise ships all over the country\, and has also performed at SF Sketchfest\, the Oakland Comedy Festival\, and the Big Pine Comedy Festival\, where he was awarded “Best of Fest.” You can catch his comedy playing on Pandora and SiriusXM. Paul is absurdly tall and may become confrontational if you claim to know more about Harry Potter than he does. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmily Van Dyke\n\n\n\nOriginally from the Midwest\, Emily loves best friend tattoos and telling inappropriate stories at baby showers. Emily has opened for Colin Quinn and Judah Friedlander\, she has performed in SF Sketchfest and she’s a local favorite in the Bay Area. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and organizer of this show. He is a Bay Area comedy staple as well as the host and creator of Adulted. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails.

He was a featured performer at the 2016-2019 San Francisco Sketchfests and  winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn’s “Best Newcomer” award. He is a regular host at Punch Line San Francisco and Sacramento\, Cobb’s Comedy Club and is a feature act at Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club and San Jose Improv.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDavid Nguyen\n\n\n\nDavid Nguyen is a writer and comedian currently writing and comedianing in California’s Bay Area. One half of The Colossal Show\, San Jose’s premier independent comedy showcase\, David is a mainstay both in the local scene and comedy clubs across the state. \n\n\n\nDavid was a finalist in the 2011 Rooster T Feathers New Talent and 2012 Battle of the Bay comedy competitions\, and has worked with Carly Aquilino\, Pete Davidson\, Kevin Shea\, Sheng Wang\, Brandon T. He was listed as one of the Bay Area’s best stand-up comedians by SFist. He won the “Best Joke of 2015” by SFblog Courting Comedy. Torio has performed at SF Sketchfest for the past five years\, as well as many other comedy festivals including Comedy Central’s Cluster Fest. \n\n\n\nTorio’s debut comedy album Magic Knees\,” reached #1 on the Apple comedy charts. He performs regularly at comedy festivals\, including SF Sketchfest for the past five years as well as the legendary Comedy Store in LA.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChris Beasley\n\n\n\nChris Beasley is a Bay Area Comic originally from Dallas\, Texas. Chris has an optimistic view on life as he skillfully tackles masculinity\, feminism and racism with a childlike demeanor. He’s been accepted in the World Series of Comedy “TOP 101” and has been featured on the Hot Breath podcast. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Maggi\, Your Host\n\n\n\nBrian is the Executive Producer of Showmentum\, and organizer of this show. He is a Bay Area comedy staple as well as the host and creator of Adulted. He left the high stress world of tech for the low wage life of standup comedy. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeating & Venue Information\n\n\n\nAll parties attending will automatically get a reserved table.
